The Workflow

From federated model to clash report in under 6 hours

Upload your model. Bimvyne runs coordination analysis overnight — detecting geometric intersections, scoring severity by LOD context, identifying discipline pairs. By the time your team arrives for the coordination meeting, the clash matrix is already waiting.

Step 1

Upload your federated model

Drop in your model in any of our supported formats. No plug-in installation, no Autodesk account linking, no API configuration. Just the file.

  • Revit (RVT) — up to 2GB on Firm tier
  • IFC 2x3 and IFC 4 (Open BIM)
  • Navisworks NWD and NWC
  • HTTPS-only upload — model files encrypted in transit

Step 2

AI coordination analysis

Bimvyne's coordination engine processes your federated model. It detects geometric intersections, identifies discipline pairs, assigns LOD context, and scores severity. Processing typically completes in 15–45 minutes.

  • Detects MEP, structural, and architectural clashes
  • LOD-aware: no false positives from schematic geometry
  • Severity scoring: high / medium / low by impact
Step 3

Report delivery — before the meeting

6 hours before your scheduled coordination meeting, Bimvyne delivers the clash matrix to every project team member. Dashboard view for deep-dive. PDF for the meeting room. Email digest for quick preview.

  • Automatic PDF export with clash matrix
  • Email digest to all team members
  • Configurable delivery schedule per project
  • Dashboard: filterable by discipline, LOD, severity

Project: Mixed-Use Austin Center — Phase 2

Meeting: Coordination Meeting #7 — Today 2:00 PM

4 High severity clashes require resolution before GC walkthrough.

Full report available in dashboard →

Resolution Log — CLH-0042

Assigned to MEP lead

MEP-HVAC vs STRUCT-STEEL — reroute duct above beam

Marked resolved

Duct rerouted 14" above beam elevation. Model updated.

Step 4

Resolution tracking + GC handoff

After the meeting, assign each clash to the responsible discipline lead. Bimvyne tracks status from open through resolution. When your model is ready for GC handoff, generate a change log documenting every clash and its resolution.

  • Assign clash to discipline lead
  • Track status: Open / In Review / Resolved / Deferred
  • Generate GC handoff change log
